Clockwork Planet (クロックワーク・プラネット)

Clockwork Planet is a Fantasy Sci-Fi anime that was released in 2017 April 7th to June 23rd.

I have recently been trying to learn more about Steampunk and the genre in general so I decided that watching Clockwork Planet would help me with character making or with the idea creating it did. As an anime it had an interesting concept of our earth made by a man that could be framed as the earth's god at the time of building this planet or cog's and parts. The characters are adorable and the OP was amazing. I honestly loved the opening. I never skipped it and with a few comedic features in the anime it was certainly amazing! And this time I didn't force my boyfriend to watch it with me hehe. （｡>‿‿<｡ ）

ｏsummary ｏ

Legend tells that when the Earth was destroyed, the great clock-maker Y made a replacement from cogs and gears. Naoto Miura is a young boy who aspires to be a great clock-maker. However, despite his unique talent, sensitive hearing that can immediately understand clockwork mechanics from noise alone he has made little progress. But this changes when a coffin falls from the sky into his apartment, revealing RyuZU, a female automaton forged by Y himself.

News of RyuZU's arrival brings Marie Bell Breguet, the gifted heir of a distinguished line of clock-makers, and her cyborg bodyguard Vainney Halter into Naoto's life as well. When she and Naoto both become embroiled in an action-packed battle for their lives, they discover an uncomfortable truth: the clockwork planet that humanity has lived on for over a millennium is beginning to break down—a secret that many people will kill to protect.

About Me: Created by "Y," a genius clock-maker. Her mechanics were stuck for 1,804,926 hours until Naoto fixed her. She is very loyal to Naoto.

Name: Naoto Miura (見浦ナオト)

About Me: Naoto is obsessed with clockwork and often oblivious to his surroundings. Due to this, he is often bullied at school. Naoto prefers automata over humans, this is because automata do not age while humans do. He even called Marie a flesh-bag and refused her request to help her fix Kyoto's Core Tower, and only accepted after RyuZU told him that her younger sister is in there.

Name: AnchoR (アンクル)

RyuZU's younger sister and a machine made for fighting purposes. 

Name: Vainney Halter (ヴァイネイ・ハルター)

About Me: Vainney is an 8th generation mechanized human. He is Marie's bodyguard. He is loyal to her and cares for her.

Name: Marie Bell Breguet (マリー・ベル・ブレゲ)

About Me: She is the daughter of the president of the Breguet company. Due to her genius intellect, she and others would believe her as the smartest clock-maker in history.
