Caligula (カリギュラ)

Caligula is a Sci-Fi anime that was released in 2018 April 8th to June 24th that had originally come from the game currently on Steam and the Play-station store from my knowledge.

When I saw Caligula I was looking for a dark somewhat anime such as The Promised Neverland since I really wanted to binge a show and lots of people personally think the show is no better than the game which I am hoping I can play one day but for now the anime personally was very good and me and boyfriend both watched it and binged it within 2 days but we both didn't watch it at the same time but not the point. I also want to point out that Aria, one of the characters, is adorable and I love her haha. And the OP is awesome and the more I listened it sounded better sadly I couldn't find it on Spotify though rip.

ｏsummary ｏ

What is happiness? Ever the fan of psychology, questions such as this are ones that high school student Ritsu Shikishima likes to ponder as he spends his peaceful days with his friends. His perfect world, however, begins to unravel when he hears a strange voice obscured by static, pleading for help. This voice belongs to μ, a beloved pop idol, whose singing begins to have an adverse effect on the world. Before Ritsu's very eyes, the faces of his friends and family become distorted by glitches as the sound of μ's voice transforms them into Digiheads: berserk monsters bent on the extermination of all those who begin to awaken to the true nature of their existence.

Realizing that he is trapped in a virtual world created by μ called Mobius, Ritsu must now gather everyone else who has managed to realize the truth before they are all eliminated. Together, they will use their newfound powers and weapons granted by their emotions—known as the Catharsis Effect—to fight off the mysterious group known as The Ostinato Musicians as they struggle to escape.

Name: μ

About Me: μ is a very kind and upbeat individual, often performing concerts to help encourage and ease the people's worries. Cheerful would be the best way to describe her, though she can also easily be disheartened when she sees anyone who isn't quite satisfied with Mobius. When she and Aria were first creating Mobius, she often fretted that no one would enjoy it. She is also very determined, wanting to grant the wish of everyone in Mobius, though this has also strained her relationship with Aria.

Name: Ritsu Shikishima (式島 律)

About Me: Ritsu Shikishima is the main character of the Caligula anime. Like his game counterpart, he is a second-year student at Kishimai High School.

Name: Shougo Satake (佐竹 笙悟)

About Me: Shogo Satake is a 3rd year high school student and the former president of the Go-Home Club.
