Glasslip follows the life of Touko Fukami, an aspiring glass artist born from a glass artisan family. She enjoys her worry free life in Fukui, save for the fragments of images that she sees on occasion.
On her 18th summer, she meets the transfer student Kakeru Okikura at her school, and then again at her favorite café called Kazemichi together with all four of her friends. The voices from the future lead Kakeru to Touko, and his arrival disrupts her mediocre existence. All six of the friends must face their most unforgettable summer full of hope, affection, and heartache.

Sachi is a quiet and soft spoken third-year high school student. She is usually seen wearing her glasses and reading a book. She loves Touko very much and is over protective of her. She also seems to know of Yukinari's feelings for Touko, and upon their first meeting, Sachi takes a disliking to Kakeru due to his suspicious relationship with Touko.

Yanagi is a high school student who is taking lessons to become a model. She sometimes has a tsundere-like personality, but usually is cheerful and participates in most conversations. It is hinted that she may have feelings for Imi Yukinari and is jealous of Toko, as she looked over at him during the summer festival and tells her that he will do anything Toko asks of him.

Yukinari is Yanagi's step brother. He is on his high school's track team, but is in rehabilitation at the beginning of the series. He is a cool and laid back boy. He is in his third year much like his friends. He has feelings for Tōko and is jealous of Kakeru.

Hiro is a cheerful boy who is always seen smiling. It is hinted that he may have feelings for Sachi. This is shown when he blushes as Sachi puts on the 3D glasses Touko got for her from the summer festival. His grandfather runs a cafe.
Glasslip is a great romance anime and I would recommend it to anyone!! I was so immersed in the anime. The glass concept too!! It's just beautiful! The friendship and the drama, romance just beautiful.
